This is an educational tour organised from the island of Texel. You will have to take the public ferry from Den Helder to get to the island. After registration with one of our guides we will go to the marine protected area called ‘De Schorren’. We will start the tour close to the protected area as it is prohibited to enter the area. During the tour our guides will explain about the flora and fauna that live in the Dutch Waddensea. The round trip back to the starting point is approximately 12 km and takes 3 hours. The tour is relatively easy and therefore suitable for families. There is a 10-year minimum age limit to join this tour.
