Terschelling

Only participants who have succesfully completed the Ameland return tour can register for this tour. The intertidal tour to the island of Terschelling is the hardest of all tours on offer and is only organised by our organisation. For this tour you may be asked to show a medical fitness certificate. The total distance of the tour is 18 km and takes about 6 hours. Most of the tour we will be wading through water (generally varying from knee to hips) which makes this tour different and harder from the other tours on offer. After about 6 hours we land at the most easterly end of the island of Terschelling (called the Bosplaat) from where we will have to walk another 1,5 hours before we reach the first village (Oosterend) on the island. From here a bus can take you to the western end of the island (West Terschelling) where the public ferry will bring us back (2 hours boattrip) to the mainland. If you want to join this tour you need to pass a test walking from the mainland to Ameland and back within one tide (see Ameland return)

The assembling point of the tour to Terschelling is.
